R
Michel NIEL
michel.niel@chemparc.com

A PhD chemist, Michel NIEL has occupied different posts with product responsibility at ORKEM, ATOCHEM, and ATOFINA before managing a joint-venture in China whose main activity was the production and commercialisation of hydrogen peroxide. After returning to the TOTAL Group in 2002, he was responsible for a major re-industrialisation mission at Toulouse. His experience as a chemist, as well as that acquired during the development and marketing of different chemical products, has made him an expert in the analysis of chemical projects. Added to this is his rich experience of managing and assisting investment files, acquired during his previous mission.

R Carole LOUPY
carole.loupy@chemparc.com

Over the last 14 years, Carole LOUPY has built up a solid experience in the field of economic development. Her first 10 years of professional life were spent in the Bureau de Développement Economique des Pays de l’Adour (a well-known local economic development agency). She then became Assistant to the Deputy Préfet, responsible for industrialisation, who at that time was in charge of the dossier concerning the creation of CHEMPARC. It was a natural progression for her to join the GIP CHEMPARC in 2002 as assistant to the Industrial Development Manager. Carole is a competent and much appreciated interface between potential investors and all the partners of the CHEMPARC organisation. In addition, the fact that she also speaks fluent English and Spanish helps efficient communication in this international activity.
