The BOROCHEM company was created in 2005 by Alexandre BOUILLON. In 2003, it was a prize-winner in a creation of companies competition in the field of innovative technologies in the “emerging” category. This was followed in 2005 by winning the creation-development category. It received the second ADER prize for applied research in 2008 and has just received the CHEMSTART’UP prize in 2010.
BOROCHEM specialises in the chemistry of organoboron derivatives. These are prepared at very low temperatures using innovative cryochemical technologies. It conceives, develops and produces rare and original organoboron molecules to be used by research teams in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields.
BOROCHEM’s industrial development should result in the creation of between 5 and 10 jobs in the Lacq area.
