Chemparc is a unique area in France. It incorporates four SEVESO II classified platforms covering an area of 455 ha (1120 acres).
Its vocation is to welcome industrial plants operating preferably in the areas of fine and speciality chemistry as well as all other activities contributing to the economic development of the Lacq area.
Its objective is to offer the widest possible range of turn-key services.

Over 50 years of safety management

Situated in a rural environment, the chemical platforms attached to CHEMPARC are classified SEVESO II (the highest European classification for producing and storing potentially hazardous products). In consequence, the sites comply with all the safety criteria laid down by the SEVESO classification. The policy of safety and prevention of major accidents, as well as the safety management system, is applied here. The sites also meet the requirements for installations classified for the protection of the environment. From 1950 to this day, the men and women working in the complex have never ceased to invest their time and energy in their mission. Today, the 8000 people employed here continue to make this their top priority, backed up by a well-established programme of regular training.
